We are here recently on a Friday evening. The service was great. The food was good. The problem was the smell. We were here about 1.5 hours and sat very close to the front door, which is about the furthest from the kitchen as you can get. When we left, our clothes and hair smelled like dirty, cooking grease. We had to immediately go home, shower, and wash our clothes!
Good beers and great pizza! Hot rocket will blow your nuggets off with flavor.
I will start by saying this is a favorite spot for dinner and beer when ever in town. The beer is always consistent and very good. The food is always good. We had dinner here tonight and found that the chicken tenders have been changed. They used to be breaded with a crispy coating and I felt they were hand breaded. The tenders tonight looked and tasted like any other store bought item. The breading was thin and had no crunch or flavor. I asked the server and he said that they were changed about 2 weeks ago. I will continue to eat here but chicken tenders will not be my choice. I hope that other menu items don’t change like these did.
We ate lunch there a couple of days ago. The lady at the counter had such long nails she took several minutes to pick through the beer flavor papers. I feel long nails and food service is an ugly combo. We ordered our lunch and although the waiter was very pleasant our food was cold. I have a feeling it didn’t come out of the kitchen cold so what was the holdup.
