Such a nice place with delicious food and drinks, and especially topnotch service! We came in for our brunch and got greeted by the nicest host who quickly found us an outdoor table, promptly setting up the heaters and giving us heated pads for our seats! We had such a lovely lunch with the help of our waiter, Jordan, who was really attentive and kind, helping explain and accommodate our needs from the menu and orders. We've been going to showroom for years. The food is great, but the service has always been slow and lackluster. We've always joked that the servers are hired for their aesthetic (hipster cool) rather than their skills or experience. After our most recent experience, we won't be going back any time soon. We had a reservation and were seated on the patio in January when I specifically requested to be seated inside. The heaters were working well so we were willing to overlook that. It then took 15 minutes for us to even get water. When we expressed displeasure we were brought free biscuits. Ok, fine. They then proceeded to forget my son's drink, got all of our orders wrong, and then the last straw. My husband paid the bill in cash, rather than bring him exact change they ROUNDED DOWN and brought him $2 and not the rest of the change. Unacceptable. When he tried to talk to the manager (whom we suspected got thrown into that role as he was a teenager and clearly out of his depth), my husband was told, oh, I can bring you your other dollar... So, they need to get it together. The service there has always been unprofessional but that just ticked us off.

It took a really long time to get waited on and put in a drink order. My omelet didn't seem like it was from actual fresh eggs and we had to ask for the check three separate times and waited for a total of 25 minutes for the check.

This is my first time going to this restaurant and it made an amazing first impression! I was a little nervous that the experience was gonna be bad at first because it took us a little bit to be seated even though we had a reservation. I understand why they were busy now! I definitely recommend this place if you want something more upscale but still affordable!

Husband and I split the fried chicken, kale Caesar salad and the onion rings. All were delicious. We get the chicken every time- it's lightly breaded and very moist, tasting like it was brined in pickle juice-yummy. The onion rings are huge and have a tasty horseradish dip on the side. The kale Caesar is a nice twist from the classic.
