I think it’s family owned, but they should definitely think of starting a different business because nothing tastes like Dunkin in there. Also all the employees were whispering even through the drive through. It was extremely difficult to order. No one seemed to know what they were doing.
Went to pickup a pre order and literally saw (presumably) the owner from behind the food prep area pick up doughnuts out the case with bare hands and then proceed to lick all of his fingers. when he greeted me I was uphaled at the sight I had just seen and he proceeded to touch items in the customer pickup area. I wouldn't be surprised if he does stuff like that all the time.
Numerous repeat chances we've been so patient but this is it... again reheated bagels like a dog chew toy, no butter even literally almost completely dry EVERY single time it's absurd. Horrible place and they have that part consistent. SUCH a shame since we gave it a chance soooo many times...mostly they miss it and it's basic food service but worst yet food quality. See them going out of business ?
The Dunkin Donuts franchise has been a staple in the fast food industry for decades, and for good reason too. There’s a reason this brand’s slogan is “America Runs on Dunkin”. Whether you’re grabbing a cup of Joe on the way to the airport or taking home a box of dozen to the wife and kids on Saturday morning; Dunkin Donuts has prided itself on being there to help you out. Despite what may have been their best efforts, the Dunkin Donuts on South Jefferson just cannot hold up to these standards. First thing to take note of is the location. Connected to a busy shopping plaza with old roads and tight turns, getting in and out of this location is just awful and inconvenient. The drive thru and parking situation here is also a mess. As you’re entering the parking lot you’re more than likely to come head to head with the folks who are trying to exit the drive thru since the exit and entrance are the same. Not to mention the separate lane for mobile order pickups causing even more chaos. I get that this used to be a bank and remodeling the old building is unique, but the execution here is just no good at all. Food here is fine, nothing to write home about. I had a classic bacon egg and cheese on everything as well as a sausage wake up wrap, hash browns and a caramel iced coffee. Coffee was great! Everything else was fine. My biggest issue here is that every time I’ve placed an order it gets mistaken or items are just flat out missing. I wouldn’t be surprised if I found a happy meal toy in my bag on the next go around! The level of consistency with this problem is alarming and needs to be addressed. Dunkin is all about serving you a quality breakfast as efficient as possible to get your day started. When the efficiency is no longer there, what do you really have left? My qualms with the business are minor and have the potential to be fixed, but it’s enough to consider visiting one of the many other Dunkin locations in the area or even a competitor.-Mugsy McDonald, Independent Food Critic
Drive thru was painfully slow today, order wasn't ready when I approached the window. Coffee was good, service not so much .
