Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónIt's where the Madeirans eat, unpretentious a little like a canteen. No English spoken so I googled chicken and potatoes which is what I got. Should have also googled salad or vegetables! Service was quick and portion was enormous, three pieces of chicken and about a kilo of cubed potatoes fried with garlic. The price? 7 euros. If you go, and why wouldn't you, be prepared with some basic Portuguese words or look at the trays of prepared food and point! At the price you can't go wrong. The place was quite full and no-one thought it strange that a lone English man should walk in and order random food items.
Good food, good customer service. Many thanks.
Great place to eat some traditional Madeiran dishes! The staff is very friendly and even if they don't know much English, they really do their best to understand and answer to your questions. The atmosphere is a very pleasant one, it makes you feel like a local. Totally recommend it!
Ho mangiato baccalà e patate che ho divorato per l'ottimo sapore di questa combinazione. Il posto è più da take away ma c'è anche una sala dove potersi sedere e con alcuni tavoli. Molto gentili tutti. Posto buono, onesto
One of the best traditional Restaurant in Funchal with local food. Bacalhau, Cocido Portugues, the best grilled chicken in town, the famous dobrada. Try this lovelly experience with locals!
