Terrace protected however could be a bit noisy as it is in a neighborhood. Very easy access by public transportation however, parking is handy and it is only a short walk.
After good reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to try this newly re-opened restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the food and it was significantly overpriced. To start, a simple salad (leaves and Grana Padano) for 8CHF followed by tuna, served simply with boiled vegetables and mashed potato for circa 40CHF. Other meals ordered by my friends were also disappointing. I would recommend plenty of other tasty and better value restaurants in Geneva.
On the Saturday afternoon, our friend my us was thinking to have dinner together near carouge. Since I have the passport Gourmand, we decided to call for a table for the evening. The person who answer the call says that we need to reserve the table 24hours before hand. It was never written in the book that we need to do that. And on top of that we waited till the lunch service is over , So that the call will not disturbed the lunch service. As a user of the passport gourmand, we always have a few dishes, with starter and desserts. We always have à Apero, bottle of vin, cafe and liquor. We never take advantage of the restaurant. On top of that we always return again as customers when the food n service is good. Well anyway, with that kind of response for not wanting us because it's a Saturday night, spoiled our day. So anyway, you can be sure I will never go to this restaurant again even if it have 5 stars. And I will also let my friends knows of this unpleasant encounter. Never judge a book by its cover.
Each course was delicious, the meat came with Foie Gras on top which might sound odd but tasted great. The Restaurant seems to be operated by husband wife, with the former running the kitchen and the latter taking care of the guests. Definitely recommendable, quite pricy but there is a Menu option which appears to be good value.
A good find in Geneva compared to some of the food in the city. The price is high, but very standard for Geneva. The service was very good. The people I was with enjoyed the food more than I did. We started with a complementary appetizer that was fine. I had a main course of fish that was somewhat bland. Overall, not a bad experience. It was satisfactory but I personally wouldn't recommend it.
