Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMy husband and I adore oki2go, a restaurant we have been frequenting for years. The sashimi platter is always fresh and delicious, and the salmon steak is hot and sizzling. The waitresses are familiar with us and it's always a pleasant experience returning to the restaurant.
My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The sashimi was extremely fresh and the kimchi was deliciously spicy. The service was friendly and attentive, with our water glasses being refilled promptly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed, perfect for a casual meal on a Sunday night. However, we were disappointed that they would not split the bill for just the two of us. Despite there being no indication that splitting bills was not allowed, we had to go through some back and forth with the staff before the owner finally agreed to split the bill. While we appreciated the gesture, we found it odd that they would not accommodate such a simple request. The restaurant was not busy at the time, and there was no reason why they could not have split the bill for us. As someone who has worked in hospitality for over 10 years, I know that splitting a bill is a simple and common practice that should have been easily accommodated.
3.5<br/ <br/ This is my occasional stop over place for a quick dine in or takeaway lunch in between work. Not the most authentic Japanese cuisine, but it’s a pretty okay to go (pun intended) place that does the job of fuelling me for the day.<br/ <br/ Honestly, you’re not going find the heartiest ramen broth here and personally I don’t quite fancy bukchoy, carrots and beanshoots in them, but having ingested a couple of bowls of Gyoza Ramen here before, their gyozas are actually quite good.<br/ <br/ I once had the Wafu Steak and it was cooked perfectly medium rare as per request. The teriyaki sauce was sufficiently tasty, bearing a tinge of smokiness from the hot plate. A better coating of it amongst the beef and everything would’ve been more well rounded as there were pieces that were lacking.<br/ <br/ Whenever I’m not feeling too peckish, a tray of salmon sashimi always hits the spot and so far I haven’t had a bad one here. My pick of the crop would have to be their Oki Katsu Box as it has my favourite elements all in one pork katsu, tempura, salmon sashimi and miso soup.<br/ <br/ Recently had the Sake Don where the salmon was sadly overcooked and dry, but my side of Ika Fry was nice and crispy without being chewy. Albeit missing the spicy sauce noted in the menu, there’s nothing a little dollop of Kewpie mayo can’t fix.<br/ <br/ At the end of the day, I won’t necessarily call this little place the best out there, but its convenience and reliability has served me well.
The food at this restaurant is simply incredible, some of the best Japanese cuisine I have ever tried. The service is fast, but the selection of drinks is a bit limited. I definitely plan on returning many times in the future. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. I give it a 5-star rating.
Sushi was delicious and fresh, staff were incredibly friendly. Super quick service, piping hot gyoza was delivered to our table with a smile. No complaints, everything was great! :
