Rustic Cafe And - Gore

Absolutely amazing! I travel quite a bit for work and always look forward to my meals at Rustic Cafe and Restaurant. It's truly a gem in Gore and a significant asset to the area. I've tried many places while exploring the lower South Island, and this one stands out as the best by far. The owners and staff are friendly and show a genuine passion for what they do. The ambiance is surprising for Gore, featuring a beautifully arranged decor that feels top-notch. The food is exceptional, consistently delivering delicious meals with generous portion sizes. The desserts are a delightful bonus as well. I make it a point to dine here whenever I’m in the area. Keep up the fantastic work, everyone!

The atmosphere was wonderfully classic, and the service was the best I've had in a long time. The staff generously offered us extra drinks on multiple occasions, which is a rarity! The food was also beautifully prepared.

What a fantastic discovery in Gore! They do an excellent job catering to Keto diets, and most menu items can be adapted to be Keto-friendly, just like my burger! The food selection is truly impressive, and the decor is remarkable. We’ll definitely be returning to explore the dinner menu!

Cozy resraurant, tenderloin steak was amazing. Pork ribs were good but a bit dry, could do with a bit more sauce. Service was friendly.

The meat platter was perfectly cooked and seasoned ! The owner and staff were extremely hospitable ....highly recommend if your in the mood for some authentic South African grub ..
