Stellini Trattoria - Grapevine

Stellini Trattoria, is our new favorite go to spot for brunch and excellent espresso martinis! The service is always great, the food is consistently wonderful. Treat yourself!

Made a reservation for Saturday dinner to celebrate my birthday. The reviews and photos made it seem like a great place for Italian dining, so decided to give it a try. The waiter said the special was Lamb that was shredded and a pasta with a demi glaze sauce. We later heard the waiter telling other tables about several other specialties for the evening. I ordered the Lamb and was surprised when a plate of pasta came and no shredded meat was visible or that I could taste. This was a $30 dish and I thought surely this was a mistake. The waiter returned the plate to the kitchen and apologized. I was offered another entree and selected the Veal scallopini. I've had it other places and thought I knew what to expect. Surprise, again where's the meat? What came to the table was a long flatbread style plate with 2, 1/4 inch crispy rounds of breaded something with a mound of greens in between. They were hard, dry, and inedible. We ended up going to another restaurant.

This is a real find in Grapevine. Very authentic Italian food prepared like Grandma is in the kitchen. Pricy but lovely. We had a great evening celebrating our daughter's 40th!

Food was outstanding. Price was fair. Our waiter Bo was attentive and made the experience outstanding.

Best pizza. My husband got lasagna and loved it also. My friends got steak and scallop special and raved about it. Love the spinach salad also. Waitstaff on point and very helpful. My go to in Grapevine. YUM
