Baileyton - Greeneville

While I went to I-81, my husband and I looked for a restaurant near the Interstate to eat a quick bite, and we stumbled on Baileyton. Based on the Diner Esque vibe, I was concerned that the menu could only have fried food options, but I was satisfied with the menu choices. We ordered the beef tips with a baked potato and a grilled chicken salad. In 5 minutes our food was ready and it was delicious! The restaurant itself is clean together with the bathrooms. Overall, I would go back to this restaurant.

To breakfast stopped and wow what a great little place. Breakfast was amazing. The cookies and Gravy are to die and the Omelette was amazing.... The service was great. We would definitely recommend and be back.

Very good house kitchen. The BLT was really good. The bacon was cooked crispy as I like it. My husband had the Hamburg steak. It was a good size for the price. My nephew had a phillytic steak. He couldn't finish it and he's a big tablespoon. My son had a bacon cheeseburger. We were all full when we were gone. Prices are very reasonable. The bad reviews here, people must have something wrong with their tastes. Until cleanliness, the restaurant was very clean. Try this place if you don't. They won't be disappointed.

This small restaurant has been a cornerstone for the community for decades. It's not unusual, but the food is good at home cooking. While the building is dated, the staff who work there are respected in our small town and are good people. I've visited this little country kitchen since I was a kid, and I have no problem feeding my little ones there too. The food is always very good and cheap. If you are looking for a real country food in a real country place, that is it. During the summer you will see literally horses tied out in the afternoon, where the locals ride and stop for dinner.
