Fody’s has two sockets in the heidelberg zoo. it has all negative points of a monopol. mediocre feeds and drinks, high prices, self service and uninterested employees. no wonder that most visitors will bring their food and drink from home. avoid fody’s and bring your own... if you plan a visit in the heidelberg zoo.

This is a nice caffe in the heidelberger zoo (zo entry card required), a part of the fody’s chain of caffes. the place is clean and modern. we wanted to eat some light before we started our zoo visit, and that fits the bill. service. was friendly and the cakes were pretty good. we would be happy to stop here at the next visit in the heidelberger zoo.

After our zoo visit, we wanted to warm up for a pizza. Unfortunately, we were treated very unfriendly and not made aware that this should be closed immediately. Instead, around us was very demonstratiw and loudly cleaned and cleansed so that our stay unfortunately became very uncomfortable. the pizza was in order.
