Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI have been coming to Tacos el Tio Chetos for a very long time. The waitresses have always been very good, but the one that has been with them for years is awesome. She keeps up with the full dining room and I have watched her take deliveries and bring me my drink at the same time. I am well known there now since I eat there often. It is the best Mexican food in the area by far, and the most authentic! The food is inconsistent in its preparation, but always has been very delicious. Just like I cook! Try the Norteno and the ACP, but their weekend special of Barbacoa is outstanding!
I would eat here every day if I wasn't poor. Stuff yourself with authentically prepared street tacos and feel your anxieties melt away.
Stopped here on my way by for a torta. Absolutely the best torta I’ve had thus far in my torta eating life and here’s why. A layer of refried beans that hold it together, pollo, tomato, onion, pickled jalapeño, avocado and a slice of cheese. The bread is dense, delicious and does not fall apart. This is the perfect lunch by itself…but wait…I ordered the green chilies, grilled onions and cactus too. Put this on your torta to add to the already amazing sandwich. I can’t wait to try their tacos.
The chorizo was very dry and burnt on the tacos most everything else we tried was good maybe it was an off day but it was very salty and dry some pieces were black.
Located within a small plaza. Food was good but it could have been better.
