A must visit lovely chap good service chips are excellent

I recently had the best fish, chips, and gravy I've had in a long time at this restaurant. The fish was cooked fresh and I wished it was my local spot. The staff were lovely as well.

Fries: quite good, but not the best ever (as some reviewers suggest) Fish: good quality fish, but very greasy. Nice owner. Be aware that this is a cash only shop. I got money from the store just across the road, so no problem in the end. You pay 5 pounds for either haddock or cod and 2 pounds for a portion of chips.

This chippy is fantastic. The sausage, chips, and gravy are delicious and provide great value. These are some of the best chip shop chips I've had in a while.

Very friendly and polite facility. but parts must be larger. hikers need to feed after a long walk. well located in the main street.
