Nice restaurant to meet and eat. Lots of German beers, obviously, so not a lot of stouts (sadly). Had the Bock, which was like any other basic beer. Ordered the Mac n Cheese Frankfurter expecting a frankfurter on a bun, smothered in mac and cheese. Instead, I got a rather skinny looking frank, with bits of cheese inside the casing, on a dry bun (with a side of fries). Meh, for the price. Costco offers a better bite, for $1.50.If asked to go back, sure. If given a choice between here and someplace new, I 'd try something new. Staff was friendly and eating area was open/roomy and clean. Women 's bathroom smelled awful and like it was doused in heavy-duty chemicals. It was clean looking but a bit too much to bear for my nose. Doesn 't help guests enjoy the flavors of the food and drink.
Last minute Saturday night outing! Went with a few friends and split some boots which are these giant glass pitchers in the shape of a boot! $45 deposit for the boot of beer to ensure they don 't get broken or stolen! They have quite a selection on tap and they have a fun menu! 10/10 would recommend. It was a fun night!
German-style brewery where you can try any of the 20+ German and Czech style beers offered on tap. Food menu is sort of limited, a few burgers, a schnitzel and some other offerings. Among the appetizers, the big pretzel is a very good choice: I had the pretzel bites since I ordered a burger which was just average, I should have gone with one of the sausages instead. They looked very appetizing! The flight of beers was decent, lots of good choices. Service is ok. You go to the counter, you order what you want, you pay, they give you a pager/locator and you sit waiting for the food to come. When they brought my food, I asked for some ketchup but the server told me that I had to go inside and get the ketchup myself! That, despite me tipping when I paid BEFORE I got my food. Overall, a good stop for once or twice but I wouldn't make it one of my regular go to places.
This place is a keeper! Food, beer, wine and hard seltzers. Very clean and lots of places to sit. Kid friendly!!!! Food was very good. Booths had outlets for charging so you could sit here for a long time. The 1/2 liter was more than enough for me. I can't even imagine ordering the full liter (unless I plan to stumble to the car).
