The fine authentic Italian restaurant hidden in Houston has the freshest product I have ever enjoyed. They are proud of quality and the fact that food is always fresh and right to work with local farmers and fishermen. I recommend that you stay in Houston

The food here is amazing and I can't say enough about how friendly the staff is. The wine is always the perfect temperature and the selection is at point. They have a smaller choice than some places, but they don't need the long list. The wine options are perfect! The pizza is fresh and the crust is almost a thin crust, but not too thin. And I recommend the seafood pasta. The owner gets the seafood fresh every day and it tasted fresher than places I ate in Galveston. Very recommended Tortoni.

Next I had to go to Italy in America The spaghetti alla carbonara is the best I had in Italy for years. Maybe it's better, but I don't dare to make this statement. Babe and I enjoyed every part of the fresh, homemade meal. The only negative part was the too hard garlic knots that made them chew hard. But that could be an accident. I'm definitely back!

Not sure why Tortoni isn’t packed at lunch. The food is extremely well prepared and presented. The restaurant has a very warm, homey feel. Started with a mix green salad and followed with Chicken Mr Ray with a light Pino to pair. Fantastic. Will be back, friends in tow.
