This is an incredible location with stunning views. The table service restaurant was closed when we visited, so we used the self service area on ground floor. The quality of food and prices were OK but its an odd place, you have to order each particular item in a particular section which is a nuisance if you are getting different things for different people. Also they flat refused to sell me any Kaiser Smaeren (my daughters favourite) even though it was there. It was being saved for the staff I was told which seemed a bit odd.Worth a visit for the view, we only ate there once as better places BUT fab to stop and stare and get a hot chocolate.
Nice place with great views of Ischgl on a clear day. They do a great hot chocolate with cream and a chocolate filled croissant.
The food is really good at the self service . It is made when you order in front of you. Really good quality and fast. Cashiers are not up to standard with the resort where everyone is friendly. Golja Gunther is not friendly .
The actual food was excellent but you have to fight your way to the front to get served. you also need skills in table finding. It's like a scrum in there. Possibly we were unlucky as there was poor snow in Lech and St Anton so maybe all the people had been bussed up to here. In fairness the whole resort was busy and I was already unhappy but if you do chance it I would say try the fettucine with mushrooms - delicious and the chefs prepare it fresh. I feel sorry for those guys as they were working their socks off.
