Been travelling in this area for 8 years now, this is my favorite restaurant. Great service, nice atmosphere and most importantly; fantastic food of local flavour. True value for money here.
Finding nowhere with space in Apricale, we spotted this place as we entered Isolabona, the enticing glimpse of shady pergola almost missed as we approached the junction. We were only a week in the area, but had lunch here three times, definitely our favourite restaurant. Run by a husband and wife, whose names I wish I had taken the trouble to learn (Bruno? , the atmosphere was unpretentious and completely relaxing, the delicious home-made pasta cooked and served with evident pride, with a delectable pre-starter offered gratis to whet the appetite, and the Rossese wine from the Cantina Aprosio, addictive. There was something about the place we loved, and when we return to this wonderful corner of Italy, we will make a bee-line for it.
The courtesy, and the friendliness of the owner would deserve a 10, beyond the scale of 5. Unfortunately how much eaten was not exactly in expectations.tagliata delicious but cold, in half it was almost difficult to eat, before my partner not much appreciated. sweet optimization on average of the place
Whenever we have something to celebrate in the family, we always go to Da Bruno! Just the visit to the beautiful Isolabona village is worth the drive. The food is superb, accompanied by the lovely Rossese red wine and the gorgeous zabaglione. Try the local Tagliata di Manzo, all the starters, as well as lots of its pastas. An unforgettable culinary experience!
