George's Pub - Jenks

Don't listen to the haters, this is a great place!. This is the absolute best of the best when it comes to a neighborhood pub! It's everything you expect when it comes to a local, neighborhood bar: tons of beers to choose from, tasty drinks, great food, awesome service and very affordable. It's not some cheesy chain, it's locally owned and that's what makes it great. The food is freshly made, never frozen and super tasty (I highly recommend the Thai Fish Tacos!! the service is always top notch and the drinks are strong, ice cold and served with a smile. Plus, they do weeknight food specials and happy hour! You should definitely check out George's, you won't be disappointed!

Average only. Typical bar food, nothing particularly outstanding yet nothing offensive either. Hummus was good. Ron's has a better burger. Decent but limited beer selection. Can get a bit loud when more of the 20's crowd is there on weekend nights. Every time I've been (half dozen or so) regardless of the number of people, it takes a while to get service. Tabbing out takes a while. You pretty much have to ask for everything yourself. Too bad George's doesn't offer anything really noteworthy to make me want to go there instead of Louie's. So we usually end up at Louie's.

Great environment. Relaxed, come as you are wonderful place for a beer with friends. Food is typical bar fare ****.

I have been to George's now three times. I went again last night and by far had my best time. Corey behind the bar was fantastic. I haven't been here in months and he remembered exactly what I drank even though he could not remember my name which was amazing to me. We sat in the corner and watched him run the place like a master. Everyone and I mean everyone was greeted almost by name. There were probably 30-35 people and he was all over the place it was a joy to just watch him. The mixture of people too was really cool age ranged from 21-65 and he talked to them all with warm hospitality that was not overbearing.
