The Boil Jersey City

I liked the food and the service. The space is chill. I dont like the surprise of gratuity being included in the bill automatically. I haven't been to a place that does that in a while. I usually stay away from those places, i never feel like theservice matches what im being forced to pay. I should have read some reviews... maybe someone mentions it. I don't think i willbe back but only because i dont like being forced to pay gratuity about the food, the crab sliders where ok, and the snow crabbag was delish. .. most places include eggs in the bag, but not this place ... I was charged for them here ????. There are manyplaces that offer the same stuff for a little less ????. I want to give 2 stars but i didn't dislike the place but the 3 starsreally only represents 2 and half.

Literally my favorite place. No wait! Gorgeous interior! Incredible food!!! The crab cake caesar is the best salad I have ever had and the lobster roll was so creamy and delicious. I will come here again and again!!! Seriously incredible and greatservice, too.

Food and drinks are excellent. Ambiance and the music vibes are nice. Employees attitude and servers attentiveness is HORRIBLE and you are automatically charged 20% tip ????. Train your servers to work for their money not have it simply given to them whena customer walks in the door. They treat their customers like it don?t matter and they don?t care. Their tips are already sure

Food here is awesome.. Even the drinks are pretty good and not watered down.. There is no question about the quality, since everyone in our group absolutely loved what they ordered. But they can definitely improve on the service.. It is packed onweekends and I understand the staff will be extremely busy, but when you have to wait for 10 minutes or more just to havesomeone even come to your table is not that great..

The Boil Forces 20% tip only downside. However, love the seafood variety, especially soft crab and boil bag options including amazing drinks. The service was great. We even gave them extra because the service was great.
