The Boat House - Johnston

The Boat House is a great place to unwind. I have never met friendlier people anywhere. There are tv's for the sport's junkie, a pool table and darts. It is a laid back place!

Stopped in with friends for a couple of drinks early on a Saturday afternoon. Very reasonable prices, good drinks, pretty good service, and plenty of TV entertainment, along with shuffleboard and a pool table. It's a very casual atmosphere which seemed to have quite a few regulars, but we felt comfortable and everyone seemed to be welcome!

I've been here under previous ownership (changed hands in mid 2019) and it was always good. I live just down the street from them and drive by multiple times daily. I was shocked to see that poster when they first put it up. This area has very minority Trump support. I'm a businessman myself and would never make a strategic mistake like this. They've just managed to destroy their business. It may take a little while, but it will happen. I know that my money or the money of my friends will never be spent there again. He will get his wish.

Fantastic place, great employees great customers. $3 well drinks, you really can't beat it. Everyone on here who wrote fake reviews should have actually gone there first, they all apparently delt with this horrible male employee/owner. Everyone who works there is female...
