Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe arrived at the middle of the day (still at least 4 hours closing time) to get lunch. we tried to order some labeled vegan foods, but they told us that they did not cook them now, or were sold out, not quite sure by language barrier. all we wanted was not a boeno, they had only a meal at their disposal. it was in the round a clear, white rice with brokkoli and uncooked (as in cold) tofu thrown up, floating in maple syrup. it was honest to one of the most disgusting meal I ever tasted, and even in my starving I couldn't eat through this syrup. I would never come back. if they want to eat somewhere in this small town, they go to dobra cajowna, they were friendly and had good meal times for this place: they also had what seemed to be animal fur blankets on their bank areas (may be fake, but often is fake still real fell, so idk prefer simply avoid it) updated by the previous review on 2019-01-21
I was so glad to find this place in K. Vary! Was looking for place where I could eat vegan meal with not much of a Hassle and my family member their not veg food. All places around are ridiculously expensive, so the search for this random Eßerei/Kantina with so many vegan options was total explosion! It is the right Czech cheap fast food, as we used to know before American style fast foods. It could not be the tourist friendly place, not assume that an employee speaks English. The offer on one day of my visit was: Chili sin carne(GF , veg cous cous, ratatouille type of thing with chickpeas (gf , baked beetroot salad(gf , rainbow veg(damped frozen veg blend of carrots, peas and maize so typical school cantina food (gf , two potato caulike) Bit over 200czk
Doesn't look vegan friendly at all, greasy meat served everywhere side by side, impossible to say if something is actually vegan, would not trust this place, so not even asked. Hadn't seen a single thing that might look vegan.
This restaurant does not appear to be vegan-friendly at all. There is meat served prominently throughout the menu, making it difficult to determine if any options are truly vegan. I did not feel comfortable enough to inquire about vegan options, as I did not see anything that appeared to be suitable.
We arrived at the restaurant around noon, with still four hours until closing time, hoping to have lunch. Unfortunately, when we tried to order some of the marked vegan items, we were informed that they were not being prepared at the moment or were sold out, possibly due to a language barrier. None of the items we attempted to order were available except for one meal - plain white rice with broccoli and cold tofu drizzled in maple syrup. It was one of the most unappetizing dishes I have ever tried, and I couldn't even bring myself to finish it, despite being hungry. I would not recommend returning to this restaurant. For a better dining experience in this small town, I suggest trying Dobra Cajovna, where the meals are tasty and the service is friendly. Additionally, they had what appeared to be animal fur blankets on the benches, which made me uncomfortable (even if they were fake, there is still uncertainty about the materials used).
