The Clubhouse is just over one third of a mile inland tucked in to a wooded area. When making reservations, we were displayed images of the Inn Resort which has a delightful view of the ocean. It felt like a bait and switch, but when we reviewed our reservations more closely, there is a distinction made between the two, but the page where you make reservations lacks that you 're making a reservation off-campus.There were 2 other guests in the Bunkhouse that checked in on the same day, that expressed the same frustrations. We hadn 't booked this hotel to be in the middle of the woods, we booked it for the drawing attraction of the oceanfront property.Bunkhouse rooms were tired and in need of an update. Robes were rough and pilled, and the service counter was unattended a majority of the time. There is a pool at the Bunkhouse, and it looked nice and well maintained, but again not the reason we booked this hotel. The Inn and Resort was beautiful. We can 't speak very much about the restaurant, not having had dinner there; we did have breakfast the next day and it was overwhelmingly disappointing. I think we spent about $75 for lackluster breakfast for 2. My wife ordered the asparagus omelet, but they were out of asparagus. what does it come with then? was the next question, -well, nothing the server replied.I 'm sure the Inn and Resort is wonderful but there are very few pictures of the rooms from the Bunkhouse found on online reviews. I urge caution when making reservations.
The restaurant has wonderful service and a divine selection of food. Each item in my 3 course meal was fantastic, and the chocolate dessert melted in my mouth. I had a spectacular seat looking out to the water. I highly recommend the restaurant. I did not stay at the resort, so I can not comment on the rooms.Service: 5/5
The setting is fabulous. Our room was a far cry from the luxury room we were expecting at 1000 a night. The room smelled of urine the bathroom sink did not work the shade on the window was broken so I had the pleasure of a dawn sunrise beaming into my bed. The pictures in the trip advisor were lovely; our room did not come close to the illustration. We were moved to an even smaller room the second night with less of a view but the sink worked. The saving grace was the weather. I would never recommend this “resort” . They say you get what you pay for but this was an exercise in frustration and disappointment. A waste of money with no recourse.
Got my wedding there in march 2017. Wonderful. Good smiling staff at your service.Rooms: 5/5
