The restaurant is beautiful, nicely decorated and even with a lot of people inside it’s not too loud. The menu is focused, and seasonally adapted, for me always an indicator for great food : . All the dishes were a perfect serving size as well. We had the onion soup as a starter and it was honestly the best onion soup I have ever had! Then we continued with the fondue it was a great mix of cheeses. Chloe our waitress was very attentive and did a great job. It was also really nice chatting with the owner thank you very much! We will definitely come back.
From the moment I arrived, I was treated like a superstar! The young couple who tun Chez Rosa run a solid class act. I felt an elegant cozy lounge vibe, romantic even. I began with a glass of champagne. They were numerous selections by the glass, and even more by the bottle The evening I was there, there was a foie gras special. Of course I had to try it. It was delicious and melted in your mouth. Next, I had oysters and some blue cheese. The wine selection was very expensive. And I did indulge. I like sparkling water with my dinner. They have Saratoga for dinner. I chose the gnocchi. Chef made a special secret recipe. (Puff pastry dough-vs-potato). It was served in a delicious cream sauce with a fall squash so delicious, I had to finish every bite. Unfortunately, there’s not room in my stomach for dessert. A few hints, the restaurant is Tucktaway on a one-way street and there is no parking. There is parking, however, around the corner on some of the other streets. Also, he will definitely need a reservation.
Chez Rosa's spin on beautiful French classics is a great success. Mike and the other staff were beyond amazing. The atmosphere is so genuine. And he was right, their gnocchi will ruin it for us forever when trying to enjoy another gnocchi dish. Pollock Wellington, creme brulee, the salad, oysters, and a beautiful Saint Tropez drinks were our choices and I would pick them again Food: 5
