Today was my first time eating at HURST and when I tell you AMAZING!!! I work near there called in my order along with a few of my coworkers orders spoke to Lisa who was absolutely wonderful to speak with, but when I got back to work and tasted my food....OMG!! I could have passed out the smell, the taste was EXTRAORDINARY!! The food was so good, and I was eating so fast I almost bit my finger. If you're ever in the area try it out!! If you want delicious soul food that taste as if it came from your grandmothers kitchen from back in the day, then this is the place to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HURST is #1 in my book. Thank you for the awesome customer service too ladies!!! I will be back!!
The place is clean and comfortable. It sit in between a tire repair shop and gas station by a red light so you can't miss it. The food is some of the best southern in the area. It's well price and worth the trip. It's food taste better than high price restaurant in the local city area.
Love them great food great service great tea. reminds me of my grand mothers food. great for lunch or dinner if your a old skool country guy like me
I've had a daughters cooking and it's the best food I've ever eaten!!!!! The gumbo today filled the air like a Bouquet. It was filled with shrimp, chicken, sausage, and chunks of tomato. It was divine gumbo. Not your typical Cajun brown gumbo. It was a Creole divine creation something like Leah Chase might create definitely appreciate. The potato salad was tight and sweet with relish. I would open up my own restaurant if I cooked like this lady but then again her<br/ family owns their own restaurant!<br/
