Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónNot sure Skippers is opened? Trying to call in an order tonight for about an hour now and no answer. If a business can’t answer the phone or is closed , they could leave the customers a message on the phone for when they call. This is just courtesy to the customer, makes for good business.
We used to have a Skippers in Greeley, CO years ago. It closed. To the Skippers franchise- WE NEED A SKIPPERS BACK IN COLORADO. BEST Clam Chowder E-VER. The fish was absolutely wonderful. Nothing around here for a quick fast meal compares. PLEASE bring Skippers back to us.
Lunch was great except the chowder was cold. It still tasted good. I'm not one to send food back and complain. Just a suggestion to make sure it's heated up properly.
Usually one of my favorites, not today! Order screwed up as clerk didn't get English and on the third try we were down to hand signs. Coleslaw was aweful, tasteless with almost no dressing and baked potatoes were bitter and green. The fake butter and sour cream couldn't disguise it. I might try again but this is not the first time ordering has been difficult.
I hadn't been to Skippers in close to 15 years and honestly wasn't even sure if they were still open. I haven't seen a commercial for them in forever and hadn't been since I moved to Washington, but let me tell you, the fish and chips are just as good as I remember. The chowder, on the other hand, seemed different from what I remember. It seemed thinner and tasted like it was missing something. It was more like a soup than a chowder. Other than the chowder which I used to love, it was great, and if my wife liked fish, we would probably go here more often.
