I opted for a blueberry muffin which was very fresh and delicious, accompanied by a cappuccino. The service was initially slow but picked up, and overall it was a pleasant experience.
Nice cafe with great food, but it shows how one bad waitress can spoil your lunch, my meal sat on the pass for 5 mins, I just mentioned to the waitress the meal has been up for a while instead of just apologising she was so rude it made the entire table uncomfortable. Waitress is definitely not your calling. It was only one waitress the service and food are usually great, if you frequent this restaurant I’m sure you’ll know the waitress as it wouldn’t be a one off
I would highly recommend avoiding the new Toorak location for this cafe unless you like hard boiled eggs instead of poached, and toast that tastes like all crust. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention this place is incredibly overpriced for the amateur talent they have in the kitchen. An everyday chef like myself could replicate the dish with a blindfold on. Coffee is good, my almond milk coffee was fine. The cafe itself is presented beautifully, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. However, our feedback fell on deaf ears. The bill was the same despite the poor quality no way in hell will I return to risk another overcooked meal.
I absolutely adore this charming cafe in Melbourne that reminds me of the Hamptons in New York! Despite some negative reviews, my experience dining here yesterday was fantastic. The fish tacos and detox juice I ordered were absolutely delicious, and the service was friendly. The ambiance was wonderful, and everyone else dining there seemed to be enjoying their meals as well. The cafe had a bright and airy atmosphere, and I particularly loved the small details like the stylish checked napkins the food was served on - it was just so reminiscent of the Hamptons!
My family recently dined at this restaurant. The food and atmosphere were average. My husband and I ordered poached eggs with avocado, hollandaise, and bacon, while our son ordered the kids pancake. Our disappointment came from using the Entertainment Book offer. The offer was for buy one main course and get another main course for free. However, we were surprised to learn that because we ordered two main dishes and a child's meal, the free meal would be the child's meal valued at $6, rather than the main dish valued at around $19. It seemed illogical to offer a discount to attract new customers only to disappoint them with petty policies. Perhaps we should have ordered another adult meal at no additional cost. It's likely that there is a clause in the fine print regarding this issue, so beware if you are using the Entertainment Book.
