Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis midwestern gal loves a good BPT but they are few and far between here in Central Texas. Checkpoint Germany food truck was at Rentsch Brewery in Georgetown, Tx for Oktoberfest so I decided to try their schnitzel plate. It looked like a breaded pork tenderloin so I took it home and turned it into a sandwich. It was da bomb.Good breading, not greasy, just the right thickness and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes tasted like my Oma's.Highly recommend. And recommend this be sold as a sandwich called the BPT schnitzel. It will attract and satisfy the plethora of Hoosiers and Hawkeyes longing for a taste of home.
The service was awesome. The young man who was working in this heat (heat index is 108° and still had such a fantastic attitude was refreshing to see.The Jägerschnitzel Pommes frites were delicious. I will most certainly be returning.
Really nice people and the jaegerschnitzel is delicious
If you are craving German food, this is it! My husband used to live in Europe so we are always on the lookout for some authentic eats. FAVORITE thing: Jaeger Schnitzel (porkcutlet with mushroom gravy) rosemary potatoeswith cucumber salad on the side.Interesting fact: the food truck is run by a retiredmilitary couple and any homeless vet can alwaysget a free meal with them
Had the Bratwursts with kraut and hot mustard at Barrow Brewing in Salado last night and OMG it was excellent!! Will be back to try more of the menu items asap!
