Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónChristmas night so it was chaotic and hostess seemed inexperienced. it took 25 minutes to put us. but when we were sitting, it was at a big stand that was perfect with big children. nick, our server was great. the bar was slow, so he brought water and a basket of sorted rolls. he handled a spilled glass of wine calmly and kept the children happy with shirley temple when eating was slow. the food was quite good, but the kitchen ran out several escapes and also several desserts despite the fact that our reservation for 5:15. I have no idea what they fed later customers! Despite the mängel we were all fed and had a good time. management and staff are still not ready to pandemic level of service, but that seems to be common. I guess they opened a few restaurants on Christmas.
We understand that it was Christmas. our server was absolutely great and we enjoyed our meal! we were annoyed with the management at the river of Christmas. we had reservations for 4:15. on 4 and were not set after 5 because the kitchen was supported with going ordering and only one person who worked the recipe.
Everything from room temperature to eating was cold. I ordered a coffee from the bar that was cold. I gave it back to get only one lukewarm coffee.
No complaints about the quality of food. but they ran early in the day from certain things. a small deceleration was also made during a reservation. Moreover, the restaurant was very cold (understand that the temperatures outside was unseasonable frigid).
Calhoun’s turkey and dressing meal was surprisingly better than expected. My husband and I ordered the turkey and our son chose the half slab of ribs, broccoli and fries. He really should have ordered a full slab since he is a big eater. We all enjoyed our meal. Turkey Creek Calhoun’s was colder than I remember—had to keep coat on while eating.
