We ate here twice, and both occasions had excellent meals. During the first visit we were able to book a table in the hut, which had the atmosphere expected from an old fishing hut, which was decorated accordingly. During the second visit we sat in the large outdoor dining area, overlooking the smokehouse. The service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. It goes without saying that the smoked fish, in all its guises and the fish soup served in a large hollowed bread roll, are a must.
They sit in a small village surrounded by a forest next to the sea and enjoy fresh fish and some special drinks such as Matjesschluck after the meal. Fish soup is served in a bread and the brathe rings green (krispy fried)...and four of them!!! are just fantastic. Closed on Mondays!
