A very unique restaurant with delicious original Sarawak cuisine. The food was well prepared and tasted very well. The environment is very characteristic of traditional Sarawak, including melodic and calm music. But please plan the visit as this place is always the whole house.
It was a nice and amazing dinner here in Lepau. The decoration here is very nice and cozy, especially the outdoor seats. This is the place to be when you are looking for authentic local Sarawak cuisine. Each dish has its own unique taste that discolours your tastes. Ask the friendly staff for the recommendation if you think the menu is too intimidating with the choice, they are very friendly and will participate in your diet preferences. A defined must visit when you are in Kuching!
They only have two sittings 6pm and 8pm and it was fully booked on a friday evening. every dish we ordered was delicious. will definitely come back again. staffs were attentive as well.
One of my favorite places for lunch in Kuching. The famous dishes are the ayam pansuh, tempoyak dishes etc. Love the bario rice and tree bark tea. When we went there were specials like the cempedak fritters and the terubuk fish. We spent about RM150 for 4 pax lunch, but the bulk of that bill is the fish.
Great place for gathering and the atmosphere was simply warming and cozy! The star of the show for me was the fried rice! Full of umami flavour and the accompanying sambal chilli was an amazing combo! Next was the fried chicken; came out piping hot and it was absolutely lip-smacking good! My friend ordered a peculiar dish; some sort of durian paste… I tasted a little and it immediately reaffirmed my dislike for durians. However the rest of my group swore it was amazing though.
