Great atmosphere, delicious beer (Waterman our favorite), and most of all a warm welcoming people!! Also, music which ranged in quality from fantastic to …not good, all of which made kohola our favorite pub on Maui!!!
Located in an industrial park the brewery is set up really nice. Beers are good and prices are fair. Service was great, it's dog/family friendly (had soda/water for the non beer drinkers), plenty of merch for sale, and seating. TV is on and music is playing. Come with takeout, there is no kitchen.
I came here due to my friend hosting a high school reunion. Atmosphere is pretty laidback and cool, staff is friendly. Beers are quite tasty with a nice selection to choose from. One star off being it's in Lahaina, it got hot and stuffy for awhile even with fans blowing. Overall, a nice place to drink a cold one, I'd visit again next time I'm in town.
Beer was good, atmosphere is typical of a smaller brewery. Only complaint was that the music was a bit laud and resulted in not a lot of conversation. (We had 12 of us) A bit off the main walking area downtown so consider driving. All and all worth going and bring some food!
After a couple trips to Hawaii (Honolulu and around Maui), I found my favorite brewery. Beers were top 2 or 3 from everywhere I've tried, but on top of that, the service was really friendly, it felt more like a locals hangout than a tourist cash grab, and it's just open and laid back and felt like a little escape. Prices were even pretty normal for what I'd expect from a brewery, which I can't say for many places in Maui.I tried most everything on tap, and really enjoyed most of them, especially the hazy and the Pale. Made 2 visits in my 4 days on the island. Safe to say I'll be back on future trips!
