Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI’ve been to this place a few times. I like to do that to be certain I like what they offer, and to check on how consistent the product they provide is. This place seems to be hit or miss, but, for the most part, it’s pretty good. One thing is for sure – it’s a good value. We ordered the Enchilada Plate, and ended up with big plates consisting of three enchiladas, a good helping beans, and a pile of rice. It’s enough food for a growing boy. Heck, two people could probably split a plate, and do alright. This is a traditional, “Lard and Pork” Mexican restaurant, but they do get kudos for having a “whole bean” option for those who don’t really like lard. Just don’t assume that those whole beans are entirely vegetarian. I suspect they may have been cooked with a bone, or some other type of animal-based seasoning. I am also not too certain that their rice is completely devoid of animal products, either. Sometimes in these places, you have to use your own discretion, because you can’t always trust the opinions of people who eat meat without consideration of where it came to actually understand what qualifies as vegetarian, (we once had a woman at a different restaurant suggest we order the “steak” if we wanted something without lard or pork). It’s a safe bet to say that if you like Colorado/Southwest style Mexican food, and you aren’t too big on fancy, you will like this place. It’s not the cutest place I’ve ever dined at, but the food was pretty good, the people were very pleasant, and I sure did not leave with either an empty stomach, or an empty wallet. Oh, and, by the way, if you have an Entertainment Book, there’s a coupon in there for bogo on entrees that is worth up to $10 off.
