The Lava - Lava Hot Springs

We rented a bungalow and it was expensive. Only problem is the back door doesn’t open! The owner didn’t say anything about it, there is no sign so we spend awhile trying our keys to open the back door! Finally we figured out it has no stairs back there! Unbelievable! I called the owner to complain and she said no one ever complained. Sure they didn’t! Unacceptable, what does a sign or stairs cost! Hot tub directly out back had bugs in it and looked bad. Scary, high looking men were in and outside the big pool and by the river in the evening with no one around from the property! There is no fencing, it’s in a big park with public access. Safety: I did not feel safe here. Men at the river and bigger pool were drunk and scary. No hotel personal over there.

Beautiful town only stayed over night but lots to do if staying longer. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value

Stayed here with family and friends. Had one of the outside casitas and a standard room. They were very good about letting us know the best things to do around town. The hot springs felt so good and relaxing. You can tell management cares about their business being successful and you feel it as a customer. Rooms: 5 Service: 5
