Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónVery friendly reception by the Satff, excellent service, available, but not harmless Our many course lunches was only exraodinary with very refined flavors, beautifully dressed dishes and a very elaborate graduation of wines through the glass. We will definitely come back. The only negative point...in comparison to other similar restaurants is that the cook did not come to the tables and have a few words with its customers.
Hotel du castellet is not located in the inner city of le castellet, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and lies next to the airport of le castelett and the paul ricard circuit. it is well organized hotel with pools and spa, and very beautiful. in addition, it also has 6 holes...Golf course in the website of the hotel. restaurant christoph baquie is the gastronomic restaurant of the hotel. we chose “Au fil des années, over the years” and I also ordered wein paring. they served many and different amuse bulge. of course they were delicious. we enjoyed local vegetables, Mediterranean otopus and deaf. they prepared good local weeping that were lovely for me.
Do you like Special Surprises? This fine Michelin Three-Star restaurant is off the beaten path for most non-European tourists. This fact creates a nice advantage. They have some truly fabulous burgundies that are incredibly well-priced compared not only to other high-end restaurants, but to retail...offering prices! I almost hate to spill the beans because wine-lovers may make a bee-line here, but sorry, I’ve done it. Being able to purchase a great bottle of wine at a fair price to enjoy with superb food is what destination dining is all about. We dined here two nights and enjoyed superb bottles of La Tache and Rousseau Clos St. Jacques that were not just marvelous, but marvelously well priced. Kudos to Bacquie for this attractive aspect. We will never forget this blessing! The breads were exceptional and all the courses served on the tasting menu were solid and very delicious. They offer both longer and shorter tasting menus and we tried both approaches during our stay here. If you are coming for just one meal, I would highly recommend the shorter tasting menu and adding the cheese course. Part of their wine room is partitioned into a cheese cave containing at least different choices. Enter the cheese realm and pick your pleasures. The gentleman proffering the cheeses is quite knowledgeable and we chose one that is made by only one person in the world. Once she is gone, the cheese will be no more. How is that for fascinating? A bit remote but Bacquie's restaurant is well worth the drive.
Great experience overall. We start by having cocktails at the bar with an astonishing view on the garden then moved to the restaurant for the showtime! That's exactly what I love about Michelin Stars Restaurants, the perfection of the show, because of course we're...not paying this big amount of money just to eat food. Obviously the food was amazing, my favorites was the signature dish Aïoli Moderne with the sabayon who was unbelievable and the pigeon. Service was perfect. The only bads points goes to the veal who was little under the other dishes and the dessert with tomatoes, olives and fennel that I didn't really like but it was original though. Congrat's Christophe Bacquié Team ! PS : Thanks for the complimentary lemon cake it was flawless!
