Pizzeria Capri - LECCO

We had originally planned to go out for a meal elsewhere but didn't realise lecco had two train stations and alas we were by the wrong one. But that wasn't a problem as this restaurant was equally good. I opted for a pizza with prosciutto...(I seem to do that alot) and was pleased with the quality of the base and the toppings, as well as the quantity of toppings. The Base had a good crisp texture but still retained doughy softness in the crust. Fries as a side were also crispy and flavoursome. Price was good. Beer was also good.

It is obvious that the server challenge throughout the world and restaurants is also here in lecco. the manager did her best to keep the obviously inexperienced crew what they should do. when the manager did nothing. I have seen this so often in the usa and now I see it here in lecco. without good help will fight the best restaurant. 5 server for maybe 15 tabs me that are too many common. Today I see how they don't get in the hands of me and have no command to meet them at least three or four times over 30 minutes so that someone finally brought me water that I didn't order. I was grateful that they brought me water, but it was obvious when the same server tried to serve me something they had to do to someone else. that was what I was able to place my order and it was now 30 minutes for a calzone. I have no doubt that the calzone will be lovely. but the service is what I will remember.

Great recommendation from the hotel. Can be difficult to find, see photo of the map. It is best to locate by approaching from the sea side. Reliable and hospitable pizza...

We have this restaurant twice over two evenings in the second half of the sept. the first sat outside and waited to serve an eternality, although of the same young, charming lady who participated in the following day in our table (indoors). we just came back. on there two, since, despite the waiting period, the fresh porcini pizza we enjoyed on the day was quite delicious and fresh. crispy basic with the teig boiled to perfection and very sensitive mushrooms ... I would definitely recommend this restaurant if after a most reasonable meal without expectations to a silver service. the employees here are overworked (without doubt) so please do not aim their frustrations to them when the service turns out that among the expectations. Instead, ask them after the owner and throw them the mother of everything fits him when that makes them feel better. else they enjoy their pizza and zip it.

Beautiful setting, amazing food and wine. The BEST place to eat in Lecco. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful.
