Champagne Charlies - London

We shared an office for our group of six. The food was very good, the service was very good as was the ambience for us. And, the prices are fair.

My charity had a wonderful wine tasting at Champagne Charlies yesterday evening. The room, setting and cheese plates were exactly what we ordered. I am most grateful to Nelli and Julia in getting it set up. We shall return.

Just popped in for a drink before a show and was really surprised. You have no idea from the entrance what a lovely cellar bar it is. Not the cheapest but not too outrageous and certainly worth popping in for a glass of wine or port.

We had been to see Cabaret and booked this restaurant as I was nearby. We took advantage of their set menu which was £19.99 each a real bargain. We had Parma ham salad and cheese followed by their speciality sausage and mash , beautifully presented and cooked to perfection , the gravy was delicious . We had two bottles of wine , not such a bargain but we’re also very good. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff , highly recommended.

First visit. Chosen because it was close to the theatre. Cellar restaurant. Quiet for pre theatre supper but looked like lots of tables were reserved. Food was excellent. Wine was excellent too.
