Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWhere to start...about 7-8 months ago my niece and her fiancé made arrangements to book a block of rooms for their wedding weekend, the rate being $129/per night. They listed the rate on the wedding site and many of us instate/out of state, MN born/raised rellies took a minute to book, and were surprised at not $129/night but $179/night. Any reputable hotel signs a contract with bride/groom to have a block of rooms available...Mohammed (and his staff) didn't offer up a contract nor did they even honor the $129/night. The bride and groom were clearly taken advantage of and no assistance or kindness granted. It was very much a take it or leave it attitude. The bridal couple tried to rectify, but they got no where...in fact owner chose GREED over kindness...had Muhammad chose to honor the $129/night he'd have far more business coming his way...I'd praise on yelp versus burn...He earned about an extra $800 between reservations for people who came to the wedding. His lady at the front desk who checked me in, she didn't even have the courtesy to even say welcome, what's your name? Asked for my credit card, I gave her my license, she rolled her eyes and asked for my credit card...further cementing the greed mentality in my mind. Not to mention they charged the balance due at checkin versus check out. I questioned it and AGAIN...rude in that they didn't even say anything about running my card before I even got a chance to utilize a service...I've never experienced that unless clearly stated on a website or discussed prior. The breakfast was subpar...same thing every day, a tasteless plant based sausage...and scrambled eggs. no change and two out of three days there I didn't eat as it was clear that the management figured they're the cheapest in area...so why offer variety...at other AmericInns we've had biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs over medium/hard, pancakes and other wonderful options...that's why I was excited as it's been good quality...not at Long Lake I will be taking this to corporate who I'm sure will say franchisees can run their sites as they see fit so long as they keep to their minimum standards...I will never recommend this site to anyone...if I could give zero stars I would
Room was exceptionally clean. Service needed to be called but was quick and pleasant
Super clean!! Great place to stay. Gotta get that hot rub fixed tho.
Room was dirty especially bathroom walls. Towels were all stained and yellow. Shower head was falling off and only sprayed directly down where you could barely use it. Went to make coffee next morning and filter compartment had old coffee grounds and half inch thick
The staff working were super great! The hot tub was closed all weekend for maintenance, which I was super bummed about, but the kids still had a blast and that's what mattered. They used the pool all weekend. There is a Speedway gas station a McDonalds right across the road which was also super convenient. They do also offer continental breakfast. There was: waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, honey buns, yogurt, bananas, juice coffee.Rooms: The rooms were clean and had a microwave fridgeWalkability: Within walking distance of many things in townFood drinks: Within walking distance to a few sit down restaurants McDonald's Speedway gas station
