Raspado Xpress - Los Angeles

If this is the ice cream place I 'm hooked. So many flavors! They even have tequila flavor! And queso! It 's one of my favorite flavors of ice cream now. They give you a little sample, that 's how I found queso flavored ice cream. It 's comparable to cheese cake but not as sweet.

I frequently visit this restaurant three times a week and today I ordered tostilocos, as usual, with mango. The girl tried to charge me an extra 75 cents for substituting the cucumber, which I found unnecessary. Additionally, my coconut shaved ice had very little coconut in it. The quality seems to be declining. The service is only for takeout and the prices range from $1 to $10 per person. I would recommend trying the shaved ice dish.

This place is a great authentic Mexican spot serving a wide selection of raspados and biónicos. Their walnut (nuez) raspado was perfectly sweet and crunchy with real ground walnut. The service is quick and accurate and a great value overall. They have great Mexican and Latin music playing and the servers speak Spanish and English.
