The Pig & Whistle - Main Ridge

I'll start with the good and then get into the bad I like the decor of The Pig & Whistle.

If a mediocre, overpriced and tasteless meal is what you are after, then this is just the place for you.

This is a great Irish pub to get yourself a pint or a half pint of Guinness and some chips n gravy.

After driving by for the last 2 years I decided to see what the Pig & Whistle was like so off we went, the bride and me, to have lunch.Dean selected a table close to the fire and was the perfect host - attentive but not encroaching - explaining the specials and bringing our beverages.Both of us opted for the porthouse which was done to perfection and to my lady's liking. Top marks chef!I can tell you we'll be back because I promised Dean and I always keep my word.Keep the Kilkenny on tap mate!!!!!

Being here was like going back in time. the decor is great the ambience was great and most importantly the food was amazing. thanks guys for a great meal.
