Fresh Tasty - Mangonui

I really wanted to gate keep this place but we were served the best fish and chips we've had all year, love the tray our food was served on and a really nice quiet spot to get an affordable feed. We'll be back for sure

Great fish and Chips. Friendly staff. Chips are classic Mr Chips and taste great. Fish was very fresh with a nice crispy batter. Even better that you can eat it in the pub next door.

Originally came for hoki and after seeing the price for one piece, I assumed they were fresh. However they are frozen, so we opted for burgers. The burgers and chips were nice and there were a ton of patrons waiting for orders. I thought the pricing was definitely on the steep side.

I’ve always loved coming here, food is delicious staff are always friendly. I was unfortunately disappointed when I ordered the toasted sandwich which used to be double stacked I just got a basic single toastie like every other takeaways, especially when the price had increased. I don’t mind price increases but not when you then get less than you would previously.

Always a great visit for takeaways here. The fish is always cooked to perfection, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere great. You can sit outside in the open garden and enjoy in the quiet.
