Trattoria Da Pino - MARTINA FRANCA

I was with friends from neapel looking for a tipical restaurant and I talked about trattoria da pino. very local kitchen, the backyard is really cozy. eat the best ever eat in martina franca. giovanna and pino very friendly and welcoming. I am so grateful that I spend a very good place in my city. highly recommended for all tourists looking for the essence of southern Italy.

This was one of the restaurants in martina f ready to host us. the owner only spoke Italian and we understood that he had only meeresfruit. it turned out to be a fixed price menu for 30,00 per person. at the beginning we have not. know what to expect, but they came with antipasti at some wise. it was delicious and his wife was surprised that we had the last crumb of dishes. (there are about 6 different types of antipasti.) so far we have understood that everyone had the same meal. the wine is also included. the primi piati was thick makkaroni with fish. the secondi piati was a piece fried fish fillet. the meal ended with melone and coffee. we were the only foreigners in the restaraurant, but it must be well known with locals because it was quite full. there were also tables in the garden on the back. it seems that the owner himself cooked. he went up and down to the kitchen in the cellar.

We came very late in the night of bari and it was the last restaurant opened, giovanna agreed to make us tasty pasta! we felt like home, we had delicious classic pasta from the opposite and price was really reasonable thanks!

Recently spent a week in martina franca, which was our basic for tours puglia. my wife and I wanted to experience local cuisine in a trattoria in martina franca (the meals of our hotel were mostly disappointing the trattoria da pino proved to be a really excellent choice. we received a warm greeting and (because I don't speak Italian, but try bad communication was facilitated by the owners with a smartphone to translate from Italian in English. the foods were wonderfully prepared and the flavors are simply amazing. the red wine was of very good quality and our hostes were very attentive and tried to ensure that we were satisfied with all the asspects of our meal – and we were very happy. really good eating, good portions and fair prices. our hosts were simply so nice and helpful it was an unforgettable culinary experience and one of the highlights of our holiday and we recommend trattoria da pino.
