Great portions, clean restaurant and an amazing kind staff. All those positive checkmarks are what will have me come back to this restaurant and recommend Kyo Teriyaki Roll to my friends and family. The employees made me feel as I was apart of their family which warmed my heart.
Been coming to this place going on 9 years. They were here when we first moved to Marysville, we always ordered because it was closest to home. Back then it was always pretty low quality service, always charged for extra sauce, then never actually gave you sauces. I've turned around and gone back to ask for the sauce we paid extra for and got the whole eye roll. But about a year ago they totally changed. Idk if it was management or they got bought, but the food is fire now. Don't charge for extra sauce, always super nice and make sure you grab your sodas for meals. Katsu sauce is way better now too. Favorite dish: cashew chicken. And they're open on Sundays!!!
Kyo Teriyaki has some amazing teriyaki! I got the Spicy Chicken and Beef with no rice (extra salad). They always are sure that each plate is completely full, they don't skimp on the meat. This is my go-to place when I'm in Marysville! Always friendly and fast service. I highly recommend checking out Kyo if you're looking for some good quality teriyaki at a very reasonable price.
The food was not bad, but the service was. I and my family came first to order only to wait half an hour without having any food while other customers who came later already had their food on the table. When we asked about it, the clerk told us it was because our order took longer to cook than other customers'. Even then, we should have been noticed BEFORE other customers, because we came in BEFORE.
I ordered for the last two days in a row through Grubhub and have received wrong items both times. First time they forgot an entire entree of orange chicken. Today I ordered 2 coconuts drinks, 1 pineapple, and a watermelon. I received 1 coconut, 2 watermelons, and 1 strawberry. I got two missed calls from this store directly hours after I requested a refund from Grubhub. The lady literally only called me to state that I was wrong and that she gave me two coconut drinks which are obviously the white drinks. Photo posted below of my order. Regardless, I told her I even took pictures of my order and told her what was delivered and she continued to argue with me in a very rude and unprofessional manner calling me a lier!!!! A customer!!!! With photographs!!! The photographs were also sent to Grubhub. I told her to stop blowing my phone up as well after I asked if she literally only kept calling my phone to argue and tell a customer that they were wrong when they’re clearly idiotic. I am a nurse, a medical professional. I have no reason to lie or need to be refunded for no reason. And places like this do NOT need to harass customers and call them unless they’re going to do the RIGHT thing and apologize for THEIR mistakes.
