The restaurant is part of the replica of a typical Colombian village and it is nice and colorful with a balcony on the square. The menu is typical. I had a tomato soup with avocado and the famous ajiago, which I discovered is another soup. They were both good but not memorable. The virgin piña colada was good but with a little too much froth. The service is good, price too.
Stopped here for some lunch as had time to kill waiting for hotel. The restaurant is very touristy but has great upstairs views on both sides of the restaurant. Food was good although I am no expert on Columbian cuisine, service was good and for a tourist location prices were very reasonable. Enjoyable lunch at the restaurant
Oh where to begin... I asked for a salad and I ordered a salad with no cheese (I used Google translate so the waiter did not misunderstand me. My salad came with cheese. I told the waiter I had asked for the salad with no cheese, and he took it away, but with no apologies or anything! So my husband has his food- however he had no knife and fork, so he asked for it... twice. The waiter actually took another table of 4 out their cutlery when they had no food in front of them before he brought my husband his cutlery! After first taste, my husband then requested Salt- again we had to ask twice for this and the same waiter seemed more concerned about taking other tables’ orders than bringing us the salt for the food that was sat waiting! By the time my husband ate his food was cold. His food was chicken “breast” which was greasy and a very small portion of french fries. Not tasty at all. After my husband had finished eating his food I had still not received my salad. I was about to tell them to cancel the order and they brought it. It contained cold mushrooms (I was expecting warm and red sliced apple that was chewy (not crispy like an apple should be . I did not eat my food. After we asked for the bill the waiter served 4 other tables before going for our bill. By this time I was very annoyed with the service and quality of the food and had to call out to the waiter 3 times before he acknowledged me. Then told me that it was not him who was suppose to take the cash from us- but then proceeded to accompany us down the stairs to show us where we could pay. I don’t know why he could not have just taken our payment himself. I would recommend anybody to stay away from this place! Terrible!
