Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónOn Friday night, my family and I decided to dine at a Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Armadale called Le Tonkin. Despite being less than a year old, the restaurant emanates the confidence of a long-established establishment. Upon our arrival, we were delighted to find our table already set up with a baby seat. The ambiance of the restaurant is intimate and luxurious, with a neon sign inviting diners to "be here now" - wise words indeed.
This restaurant is exactly what Armadale needed - a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant. As a vegan, I was impressed with how well they catered to my dietary needs. The standout dish of the night was the eggplant - everyone in my group loved it. We also tried the pork belly and barramundi, which were both tasty but we wished the portion sizes were larger. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
I recently tried out a fantastic new restaurant on High Street that offers a variety of Asian dishes, with a focus on Vietnamese cuisine. I have enjoyed both takeout meals and a sit-down lunch at this establishment. I highly recommend the grilled chicken vermicelli noodle salad, which comes with fresh herbs, bean shoots, and a nuoc cham dressing. The chicken shitake spring rolls were also delicious, especially when paired with Kumquat nuoc cham. I was pleased to see that the takeout containers are made of recyclable paper. During my most recent visit, I tried the beef Pho, which had a well-flavored broth but unfortunately, the beef was overcooked and tough. I also had the opportunity to try two types of dumplings, one with juicy pork and the other with ginger prawn. Both were served with a delicious chili jam soy sauce that was truly addictive. Overall, a great dining experience with some room for improvement.
This is a great little local restaurant. The food has a uniqueness about it which is difficult to find these days. The friendliness of the staff along with the professional way they work makes for a fantastic evening.
What a lovely gem!Beautiful food, great service, quality ambience. We’d certainly recommend this new restaurant to anyone. Also looking forward to going to the sister restaurant in Hanoi!
