Authentic and fresh Japanese food. Love the sashimi here and Katsu curry! Simple food, good prices and lovely staff. Would love to see this place refurbished to help it reach its full potential

Oh my goodness, this restaurant! Initially, I thought it was a run-down place, but then they started bringing out the food slowly and I quickly fell in love. The food is delicious and clearly made with care, and the prices are incredibly affordable. I am so grateful that my friend brought me here, and I promise to return soon. Please never change, Sakana.

Yummy, fresh food. The tempura prawns are the best I've had. The food comes out quick. Definitely good for a casual lunch, also is reasonably priced.

When we first entered the restaurant, we noticed that it was mostly set up for takeout with limited seating. Even though it was cold outside and the heating wasn't on, we still decided to stay for our first visit. We ordered the Bento box B and C, as well as the teriyaki chicken rolls. The rolls were delicious and the Bento box had a good variety of items, making it a satisfying meal for one person. The food was decent and tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, I would consider getting takeout again in the future rather than dining in.

While the cafe itself may not be visually appealing, I ordered the Nigiri pack and a seaweed salad which were both made fresh after my request. The young lady who served me was very kind and patient as I took my time deciding. The hot food looked delicious, so I may have to return to try it another time. I deducted a half point for the awkward seating and decor, but overall it was a great experience!
