The food was really fantastic with large portions and delicious flavors. However, there are areas that could be improved: 1) the bar floor was sticky at 7pm on a Sunday 2) we had to order food for the beer garden at the bar instead of having service in the garden 3) the bar staff struggled to run a tab, which meant we would have had to pay multiple times for food, dessert, and drinks. We decided to only pay once and then leave. 4) there were rowdy guests in the beer garden that were disruptive and nothing was done about it 5) we had to bring our own drinks and cutlery to the garden, it would be better if wait staff did this 6) smoking in the garden was bothersome while we were eating. Overall, the food was great but the service could be improved.
This B&B offers a fantastic weekend getaway for the price of 105. The cooked breakfast was delicious, the restaurant and bar were great, and the service was excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well decorated with nice amenities. The food quality was top-notch with a variety of options on the menu. The bar was lively, so expect some noise if staying over the weekend. Overall, a great place to stay with a friendly atmosphere and enjoyable dining options.
I discovered this restaurant after my boyfriend's graduation, seeking a peaceful meal for our group of four following a busy day. The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. I would definitely return if I am in Anglesey again in the near future.
My family and I had Sunday lunch here, firstly i have to say how miserable and unwelcoming the staff are, they seem to spend the whole time out the back, so everytime i wanted service i had to go to the bar and shout. The food was presented nicely and was hot but nothing special, it obviously had been kept warm for some time. I was going to have dessert but there was no staff around to order. My opinion is there are better cheaper places for sunday lunch.
Have eaten here before at lunch time so thought we might try for tea time. On arrival we were told a third of the menu wasn’t available which gave us second thoughts about staying. We were told no Sunday roasts no steaks no burgers no hake no mussels no chicken strips which left us disappointed as we were meeting family and had recommended we eat here
