Birthday Delight. Situation: My boyfriend and I were strolling Ocean at 9pm looking for a late dinner after a full day of activities. After being very disappointed by a restaurant bar who 'free pours ' your watered down drinks in the back room and does not measure the alcohol not able to tell you what 's in it; we were pulled into Mia Bella Roma by the staff yelling at us, 'you 're eating here ' The novelty of SoBe) <br <br The server sat us right by the live Spanish band live entertainment 7days a week). We started with glasses of wine $13 each glass) and the Chef 's special Antipesto Plate $45). The plate was huge! Came with olives, roasted red pepper, salad, hummus, sun dried tomatoes, the works! Fresh cheese and meats made this plate good enough to share between two or more people.<br Next we had the Chef 's Special $55) Seafood Pasta in Marinara Sauce. The seafood was fresh squid, clams, mussels, a whole lobster, shrimp, scallops) and the pasta was perfect Al dente. Again, so much food and good enough to share! <br Last, it was my boyfriends birthday they came out with little cream puffs covered in whipped cream, I 've cream and chocolate sauce and wrote 'Happy Birthday ' on the plate. The live band sang him their version of Happy Birthday and had us dance in front of everyone.<br My total bill was $200 USD including a generous tip) 4 glasses of wine, Antipesto, Seafood Pasta dessert was free) <br We tipped our live Band $20 for their dancing, singing, music playing, involving the audience. <br I could come here every night!

Liked it... but: The gnocchi was absolutely delicious. You can tell the food is homemade and it was perfectly portioned. Almost gave a 'doesnt like ' because of the misleading 'specials '. You 're immediately told of the 20% off, buy one get one drinks and $3.99 appetizers. However what you 're not told is you can only pick one. After our $100 bill we questioned the charges and were kindly advised to look at the fine print (which you don 't think to do while dining out). The manager took about $10 off which I suppose was nice. Good food but beware of their sneaky advertisements.

Celebrated my 31st birthday here and was very satisfied with the outcome. They took me by surprise with the amount of food I was served and the waitress was nothing short of amazing!

Great food,Great atmosphere and good service. Very nice place to dine and hear music. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing food, careful of specials.. This place has delightful authentic italian with large portions. My mother and I shared a caprese salad and a frutti di mari pasta, perfect to satisfy us for lunch. Food is so amazing, I 'll crave it forever. However, watch out for deceitful 'specials ' and keep in mind 18% gratuity is added most places in south beach.
