Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe chose this hotel as it was near the Navigli (canal area of Milan) It is in more of a residential area rather than tourist. We arrived late and were not keen on the room as it was very basic. However our room was changed immediately to a much better room. We ate very late in the restaurant and nothing was too much trouble. There was a tram stop really near the hotel and the hotel was only four tram stops away from the canal area with shops, bars and restaurants and a metro, only two stops away from Duomo. Very easy to get around , great transport system so the hotel for us was good. Away from the hustle and bustle. The atmosphere felt more relaxed and laid back than hotels in the centre which I have stayed in before. Booking a taxi was brilliant as the reception area rang through and a taxi was always there in minutes. Breakfast was good, good selection and very fresh.
Set alongside the Naviglio Grande, the restaurant, and hotel, provide a perfect setting of Milan from a historic past and excellent present. Excellently prepared seafood is at the core of the menu, but they also offer great Italian starters to set you up for a great meal. There is also a jazz room that provides another alternative for an enjoying evening or stay. It all makes you want to come back

Not being able to read the Italian menu I accepted the waiter's recommendation of the set menu BIG MISTAKE! All of locals received lovely looking meals while I received a plate of cold slices of salami with cubed cheddar type cheese and sliced raw cabbage followed by a plate of undercooked pasta stuffed with cherry tomatoes and a tasteless tomato and cheese sauce, followed by some almost raw and chewy lamb kebabs accompanied by sauteed new potatoes. Overall it was very poor and not what you expect from Italy. The best part was the accompanying plate of bread which came with no butter or olive oil. So ith two glasses of house red wine this came to forty Euros. The trick is ask to have what everyone else is having or dont come at all!
A beautiful location where we celebrated a friend's birthday
