Did a pick up of a lobster bisque for lunch. The bisque was delicious but I was extremely disappointed that the lobster in it was imitation lobster. What a let down especially since they have all these fresh lobsters in tanks. Charging $2 for extra tiny amount of imitation meat is robbery. Buyer beware. May as well get it with no meat added and it would be better.Thank you for the reply but I have a picture of the lobster I got on the side and it is 100% imitation. The taste and texture was nothing like real lobster. The even sized shreds are a dead giveaway. The bisque was wonderful just letting people know I didn’t care for what you put in it. I hope to come back and try again. Maybe just get the “lobster” on the side next time.
We were here two weeks in a row. I think we like it. The first time my husband had a lobster and it was very good. This week I found my favorite place for fish tacos.
Wow!! One of the best experiences I 've ever had catering for my film crew!! I spoke with Koko directly who was unbelievably kind and knowledgable, and went above and beyond to ensure my crew and I were happy and well-fed. Even when going to pickup the food, he helped me carry everything out to my vehicle as it was a large order.As aforementioned, I placed a large catering order on a Monday morning and Koko and the team made it happen! I discovered Jack 's Surf and Turf at a recent event and saw online that they also had non-seafood options, as we had a few seafood allergies/aversions on set. When I called to place the order, Koko was super accommodating and assured me I could feed all of the crew with vegetarian and meat options—and I did!Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. The tacos were FULL and loaded with flavor (we got chicken and beef , the salads and dressings were delicious, the coleslaw was (and I quote some of the best I 've had from some members in the crew, the sliders were gone in seconds, the mac cheese was flavorful and creamy, and the chicken tenders and fries were a yummy combo. I found the personal touch of my name on all the thank you notes on the boxes such a lovely thing to do. Again: above and beyond!My only note for next time is maybe including a hearty vegan option, as I wasn 't aware of any on the menu. However, everything else was fantastic and I was able to accommodate the vegan crew member with a salad and fry platter.I believe they 're undergoing a rebrand to Jack 's Surf and Turf and let me tell you right now, their Turf is just as incredible as their Surf , so I 'm in full support of this haha! Overall, I was blown away by the service, kindness, flavor, and value, and I don 't write this kind of thing about just any place. If you 're in the area or ever need to cater for an event, this is your place!! I 'll be back!Vegetarian options: Salads, fries, coleslaw, and mac cheese, among other options.Parking: Definite street parking (and perhaps some around the back I saw!
This restaurant is amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly and polite. The food, from the appetizers to the main courses, is truly the best my family and I have had in a long time. The calamari is out of this world! We’ve tried it in several states over the past few years, and nothing has come close to what we experienced here. You absolutely have to visit this place—you won't regret it!
