I have never actually eaten in the actual restaurant, However, we have ordered meat pies from them directly but that was over a year a go. We generally purchase many meat pies at a time on Market days in Ancaster or at the Terra Winter Market in Milton. They freeze great! We love the all white meat chicken pies with fresh vegetables in a cream sauce. Homemade pastry and fresh ingredients make them delicious. There are several types to choose from. The pies are more expensive than your average meat pie but as a treat or when we are entertaining we splurge as Allison's make it easy. You can order online in an assortment of sizes. They are hands down the best Chicken Pot Pie we have ever tasted.
It is a nice spot to have a quiet lunch or a nice breakfast. It is attached to the Best Western hotel.
Weird hours of operating. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was closed. Was just thinking that was very strange seen as it is inside a hotel. When we did go another day we had the worst food possible. The waitress was nice enough but what you order and what you get is two different things. When my husband asked if there was cheese in his chicken pot pie the waitress said no there is never cheese. My husband said there is definately cheese in it . I tasted it and yes there was. The waitress argued with him saying no. He said take it to the chef and ask him. The chef said yes there might be cheese in it. They dont even know what they are serving people and you wait hours for your food. The owner is sitting inside her glass room looking busy and its just so weird there. Its gloomy and depressing even in the middle of the day you feel like you are in the twilight zone and something isnt right. Its also very pricey. I would advise anyone wanting to try this to avoid it.
Easily the worst restaurant in all of Halton. Weird operating hours for a hotel (not open for lunch), Under staffed. Draft taps but no draft beer. Over priced heat and serve diner food. Food took way too long. Restaurant filled with truckers cursing at the bar. Dirty restaurant in need of repair, filthy carpet, holes in walls, peeling paint and dust on every surface within reach of our overly drafty table. Owners are present in the restaurant but stay in a glass box in the middle of the restaurant and awkwardly watch you while you are there. will never return. DINERS BEWARE!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO THE TRUCK STOP NEXT TO IT AS YOU WILL RECEIVE A HIGHER QUALITY MEAL WITH BETTER SERVICE AND AT A BETTER PRICE.
