The recommended day on a board outside read well, so I decided to return there before the return trip. So, at about 1 p.m. entrance to a modern bistro-style restaurant with tribal elements at the lamps, mixed seating, benching and table in dark, variably to place, you sit comfortably. The floor depth window front can be opened to the outside half. White table runners made of fabric are added with candle element, salt and pepper and red paper napkins. No service present, 2 guests at a table, with 50 seats so my choice of space at the window. And already comes the young, friendly service with the bound, content-clear, card, complete with weekly offer and drinks. It immediately ignites several lights in my surroundings and wants to hear a drink request immediately. I wish to patience and look for a reasonable open wine, combined on one of the sides. The dry Riesling from the Rhine speaks to me, and says 4.70 €. Temperature ok, well drinkable, no real revelation, highly priced. The impetus for visiting the restaurant was the daily dish, which is now also commissioned: soup, pork steak under herbal crust with thyme sauce and herbal columns, salad plate (10.90 €, the price for the lunch table in the district town is adjusted to the altitude compared to Bendorf). After a short waiting period, the soup called „Zucchini-Cremesuppe“ is brought, without greenery decoration, in an oval bowl on a larger oval plate. It has the right temperature and would have given its name even without betrayal by the service, a pleasant, intense taste, good. After a pleasant further waiting period, the salad plate is available in 3 green shades of head salad, field salad and ruccola in a dressing that is too sweet for me, but ok. The oval plate of the main dish facilitates the arrangement of the components: on the left the unsalted potato columns, delimited by a tomato cube barrier from the thyme sauce and the steak. Salt shakers on the table, seasoning of the potato columns no problem. The meat with fresh taste, not roasted dead, the herbal crust in order, the sauce great, intense and in sufficient amount, announced part of the food and not cared for pure decoration. But, overall, the total offer is quantitatively at the saturation limit. During eating several researching looks from service and demand, whether everything is ok, almost too much of good, but not intrusive, good school. The young chef also appears after he has supplied the guests who have now been added and asks for the satisfaction, explains the ingredients of the sauce in the side table and is of course pleased with the satisfaction I have expressed, sympathetic appearance. The search at home on the internet gives a good, almost current, internet presence with the award of weekly offers (although still last week) and all other offers and prices. Conclusion: Service: friendly, well trained, for this level 5 stars food: fresh kitchen, tastefully good, in connection with PLV rounded to 4 stars ambience: good, I lacked something “art” on the walls 4 stars cleanliness: my standard 4 stars PLV: compared to other offers and evaluated in coordination with food on 3 stars recommendation: yes, with the restrictions mentioned
